Diameter: 5 cm.Total Weight: 447 gr.Description:- Instrumental plumb bob from the second half of the 19th century without a nut and therefore incomplete. Bronze weight, with threaded head.- The weight is pear-shaped, 10.5 cm high, 5 cm in diameter and 447 gr.- The body of the weight is made of bronze with an iron tip.- A chiselled band can be seen on the body and head of the weight.- The iron tip has a horizontal channel that covers the entire perimeter. It is made by hand, probably with a flat file and its purpose is unknown.- No distinguishing mark or contrast has been found that could provide information on the place where it was made, information on the manufacturer and information on its characteristics.- Very good and beautiful patina is preserved throughout the Plumb bob.- The quality of the bronze casting, and of the execution of the Plumb bob, is very good.- The Plumb bob is probably made in Southern Europe.Conservation and damage:- The Plumb bob is in good state of conservation, having the Weigh many, but very small blows and rubs.- The Plumb bob presents the typical wear of its time.Comments:- Both the measurements and the weight are approximate.- Very interesting as a collector's item and as a decorative element.- Because it is inevitable the differences of tonalities between photos and reality, it is necessary to bear in mind that the tones of the colours of the photos are not exactly equal to the tones of the real colours.- The Plumb bob on sale is the one corresponding to the photos, which in turn are complemented in this Description, with the aim of providing a better knowledge of the Object, and never being a detailed exhibition of it.- The data provided here are not contrasted personal opinions. Diámetro: 5 cm.Peso Total: 447 gr.Descripción:- Plomada Instrumental de la Segunda Mitad del S. XIX sin nuez y, por lo tanto, incompleta. Pesa de bronce, con Cabeza roscada.- La Pesa tiene forma de Pera de 10,5 cm de alto, 5 cm de Diámetro y 447 gr. de peso.- El Cuerpo de la Pesa es de bronce con una punta de hierro.- Se observa una banda cincelada en el cuerpo y en la Cabeza de la pesa.- En la punta de hierro se ha realizado una canaladura horizontal, que abarca todo su perímetro. Está hecha de forma artesanal, probablemente con una lima plana y su objetivo es desconocido.- No se ha localizado ningún distintivo, marca o contraste, que pueda facilitar datos del sitio en que se fabricó, datos del fabricante, así como datos de sus características.- Se conserva muy buena y bonita pátina en toda la Plomada.- La calidad de la fundición del bronce, y de la ejecución de la Plomada, es muy buena.- Seguramente la Plomada esté realizada en el sur de Europa.Conservación y desperfectos:- La Plomada se encuentran en buen estado de conservación, teniendo la Pesa muchos, pero muy pequeños golpes y roces.- La Plomada presenta el desgaste propio de su tiempo.Comentarios:- Tanto las Medidas, como el Peso, son aproximados.- Muy interesante como pieza de colección y como elemento decorativo.- Debido a que es inevitable las diferencias de tonalidades entre fotos y realidad, se debe tener presente que los tonos de los colores de las fotos no son exactamente iguales a los tonos de los colores reales.- La Plomada en venta es la que se corresponde con las fotos, que a su vez se complementan en esta Descripción, con el objetivo de proporcionar un mejor conocimiento del Objeto, y nunca ser una exposición detallada del mismo.- Los datos aquí facilitados son opiniones personales no contrastadas.
