First the standard sales literature that applies to all our telephone sales
Before I tell you about this wonderful telephone just a quick note about ourselves...
We have been buying/restoring/selling and collecting all manner of Antique Telephones for well over 20 years now, this being my husbands part of the business ~ DEJA VU ANTIQUES you may have seen our advert in Period Living Magazine from which we have run a successful telephone mail order business from their first issue back in 1990..... which really began as an extension of our Antiques Shop and as our own personal collection of antique telephones grew far too large !!
We have a large portfolio of happy customers to include many celebrities such as a Spice Girl (who will remain un-named....) historic hotel renovations, have supplied the telephone for the deal or no deal Annadin advert, ITV, BBC, major theatre groups and just supplied Bletchley Park War Museum with all their telephones
THE RESTORATION
All restoration work is done by ourselves in our onsite workshop and has been for the past 20 years.... each one being completely stripped down and renovated part by part then put back together and lovingly restored back to its former glory, converted for modern day usage and finished with a visit to our onsite polishing-shop where the grime of decades is removed and the bakelite brought back to the condition it would have been when originally installed into someones home all those years ago !!!
All our photographs show the genuine restored sheen of bakelite and unlike others have not been sprayed with artificial siliconce for photographic purposes
All original microphones are tried and tested and if in full working order are left in situ as there is no need to change, however if it does not meet our rigorous standards it will be replaced.......all have a bell resistor fitted giving a 1 ren value ...
All come complete with modern BT plug with black lead to enable you to plug in and away you go...... we have a house full of these old telephones which are used on a daily basis and no telephone leaves here if it is not in a condition I would be happy to have in my own home....so please do buy with confidence !!

A stunning bakelite wallphone from the 1920's/1930's era
A superb Art Deco telephone which is really a wall version of the 200 series on bell box as this telephone is mounted onto a bellset similar to the bellset 26 which has the superb twin gong bells for that pure vintage dixon of dock green ring and oh so Miss Marple !!!
We personally have one of these in use daily in the kitchen so can personally vouch for just how lovely they are
Has black alpha-numeric dial ie with letters and numbers harking back to the days of pre numeric dialling codes when to ring Four Oaks for example you would dial FO 8 then the telephone number so no longer a function today but a lovely vintage touch (can put a chrome dial on if preferred)
Has lovely condition braided handset cord
Very easy to fix to wall
Can offer to print you a very good quality reproduction dial label with a number of your choice at no extra charge

Whilst every effort is made to send items within a few days of cleared payment we also run a busy vintage & interiors business so during our busy spells a little more time may be needed ~ therefore ~ please allow upwards of a week or so during busy periods and School holidays etc.....IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM IN A HURRY PLEASE EMAIL...IF WE DONT KNOW WE CANT HELP and we will always do our best to get your item out on time....
All items are extremely well packed in recycled materials where possible.
We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged within the postal system,if you wish to insure your item please advise at point of sale, however, we always obtain proof of posting and will assist in any such claims
Most items are quoted for 1st class delivery but if you have any particular delivery requirements such as special delivery/recorded delivery etc please request at time of purchase as this must be charged as an extra
Terms of Sale
All items to be paid in full as per payment details before any items will be despatched.....all cheques must have cleared the banking system and please note it takes SEVEN FULL WORKING DAYS for a cheque to legally clear the system also please note before sending a cheque that we live quite rural and cannot make daily trips to the bank therefore if needing an item quickly I would suggest you use paypal or postal order although a crossed postal order must also clear the banking system as if a cheque.....
We do not offer refunds simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase, if you have a damaged or faulty item please email upon receipt wherby we will be pleased to address your concerns.....postage on any accepted returns to be met by purchaser(
